Courses
Pick a course.
190 written lessons across six courses. Two core ones, three built around something you already do, and one on the part of the language that trips up almost everybody.
Open right now: days 1 to 30 of the daily course and days 1 to 3 of each of the others, plus every chart, all 831 words, the grammar reference, the guides, the review deck and the printables. The rest is written and is being checked by a native speaker before it opens. Nothing is for sale yet.
Daily lessons
One short lesson a day covering the phrases you would actually use, from greetings to living in Japan.
Kanji course
All 109 N5 characters in 30 days, three or four a day, with a memory hook and two writing passes each.
Business Japanese
Keigo explained rather than listed, plus the phone calls, meetings, email and awkward conversations of a working day in Japan.
Anime Japanese
Contractions, sentence-final particles, pronouns and role language, plus which parts are safe to copy.
Manga Japanese
Panel order, furigana, vertical text and sound words, plus how to pick a book you will actually finish.
Japanese Numbers
Prices, times, counters, and the four-digit grouping that makes 90,000 nine of something. The part of the language you cannot get through a day without.
Between lessons
Two things run alongside whichever course you pick. The review deck schedules every word you have met so it comes back just before you would forget it. The word games play the vocabulary from the daily lessons: choose how far you have got and you get a speed round, flashcards and a match game built from exactly those words.
