[A] と [B] / [Person] と
と joins nouns into a complete list, and marks the person you do something with.
The mistake to avoid
と only joins nouns, never sentences or adjectives, and the list is exhaustive. For an incomplete list use や.
Examples
パンと卵を買います。

I will buy bread and eggs.
友達と行きます。
