か, the question marker
[Sentence] か
Put か on the end and any statement becomes a question. Nothing else moves, and no auxiliary appears.
The mistake to avoid
Written Japanese usually uses 。 rather than a question mark after か. The か is doing that job already.
Examples
学生ですか。
がくせいですか。
Are you a student?
行きますか。
いきますか。
Are you going?
